Asaph "Ace" Brown (President/Founder)
Asaph was born in California and raised in Cumming, Georgia. His nickname "Ace" came early in childhood as a shorter version of Asaph (pronounced Ace-af) which is a Hebrew name.
Asaph is firstly a follower and disciple of Jesus Christ. He is also the husband of a beautiful and awesome wife, and the father of their two amazing children.
In 2003, Ace officially began his career in the IT industry starting at a California-born company by the name of Kern Networks (located in Cumming, GA). Here he filled the position of technician and system administrator for the firm's small business clients across Metro Atlanta. The skillset involved understanding and configuring e-mail systems, keeping up with server tasks, and repairing computers. In addition to those tasks, Ace was also responsible for scheduling jobs, implimenting wireless (Wi-Fi) network security, managing servers, and resolving technical issues that were assigned to him. He attended to the needs of each individual customer; whether the need was for on-site/hands-on support, over the phone support, or remote desktop sessions -- he was there.
After a couple of years with Kern Networks, Ace was offered a new opportunity in Marietta, GA. a city in which he already spent much of his available time. He accepted the opportunity and for the next three years, he supported EDI Consulting Services, Inc., a fast paced company with a national reach. At EDI Consulting Services, Inc. Ace was responsible for many of the same things in simillar small business environments yet was adding new skills to his repertoire as he assisted with installing security cameras and access control systems (keyless entry). This position allowed him to do work for large corporations in places such as Bethlehem Pennsylvania, Fresno California, Tulare California, Warner Robbins Georgia, etc.
In 2008, Ace launched Vital Computer Services and steered his focus into a rather untapped market -- the realm of remote and on-site residential IT support & computer repair. As Vital Computer Services, Ace began to service the needs of people at their homes all over Metro Atlanta. His service area spanned Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Alpharetta, Roswell, Woodstock, Canton, Atlanta, and Smyrna. Word of mouth advertising spread quickly and soon he was filling his schedule with responding to alll of those Vital support requests such as: "I tried to turn my computer on this morning and it stayed on for a few minutes but then it just crashed and showed this a blue screen with a bunch of white geeky text on it... something about 'A Problem has been detected and Windows something...' I need help because my family's financial records are on there!" -- We've seen this before, we can help.
Today, Vital Computer Services continues to grow covering much of the same areas & providing remote and on-site IT support for SMB small to medium-sized businesses AND individuals / consultants.
"In today's world, computers have quickly come to play a most VITAL role in everyday life." -Asaph Brown
"We can help you! Vital Computer Services is passionate about maintaining your computers and strengthening your network. We provide technology solutions for your home and business. There are many different events which can befall your computers and network; we specialize in prevention by providing Vital Computer Services." -Asaph Brown
Christine W. (Keeper of the Books)
Christine was born in Omaha, NE and was raised in Colorado Springs, CO. Her passion and devotion in life, first and foremost, is to live like Christ, as His disciple. She has a heart for missions, and loves to travel to share the gospel with the people of the nations. She has traveled to many diverse locations, from Homer, AK to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Christine loves the outdoors, and enjoys hiking, four wheeling, snowmobiling and fishing. In addition to her heart for missions and ministry, she also hopes to one day live in a foreign country for the very purpose of the gospel.
Directly out of high school, Christine embarked on a journey for ministry with an organization known as Youth with a Mission (YWAM). Upon finishing her senior year, she moved to Maui, HI to begin training for missionary work with YWAM. During her training in Hawaii, she also traveled to Bangladesh and Thailand. After completion of her training, she then moved to Homer, AK where she would stay for 5 years as an integral part of the YWAM mission base.
As a leader of the YWAM Arctic Mercy mission team of Homer, Christine had many responsibilities. These responsibilities included directing training schools, staff training, administrative work with travel VISAs, filing for grants for the base, and leading outreach teams to the native villages of Alaska. Her base director relied heavily on her contribution for the success and development of the mission base, and most importantly for the furthering of the gospel of Christ. She led as an example in teaching and mission work, and learned how to connect with people from many different walks of life.
After moving to Atlanta in 2011, Christine’s skillset was recognized as a perfect fit for Vital Computer Services, and later that year she joined the team. Her organization and administrative aptitude proved, and continues to prove to be an ever helpful portion to the function and operation of Vital.
